Wooburn Festival

The Wooburn Festival was originally conceived over 50 years ago by one of Britain's leading orchestral conductors, the late Richard Hickox CBE. Richard's vision was to bring orchestras and musicians of international repute to the Chilterns and Thames Valley.  Since then we have expanded to include the visual arts, film, interviews and talks.  Our mission is to provide wider public access to affordable high quality events within easy reach of the local community. Amersham Concert Club

Amersham Concert Club has been organising concerts in and around Amersham by outstanding professional musicians for over 50 years. Our concerts are an opportunity to hear current and future stars in an informal atmosphere. Often the musicians talk about the music they are going to play and there can be opportunities to meet and chat with them. Everyone is very welcome, including young people, and you do not have to join the Club to come to a concert. Concerts are held between October and March at Amersham Free Church. To learn more click here.

Chorleywood Choral Society

We are a large, mixed-voice choir of committed and enthusiastic singers of all ages and backgrounds, united by a love of music and choral singing. Our musical heritage in Chorleywood goes back over 100 years.  We perform a wide range of choral music and welcome anyone who loves singing – no auditions are necessary. We stretch ourselves to produce great music to a high standard with three performances a year, and we always have great fun in the making.  In between concerts we hold well-supported social events for choir members.  For more information click here
